This event spreads awareness of issues former offenders (and thus our communities) face, and raises funds for T.O.U.C.H. programming services which are vital to the safety and prosperity of our communities. Through multi-media advertising in:
- Ohio
- Kentucky
- Indiana
- West Virginia
- Michigan
- Pennsylvania
Basketball players and fans are invited to participate in the Scoonie Penn T.O.U.C.H. Hoops Classic. The event will include appearances by current and former professional athletes from the Columbus area.
TOURNAMENT:
- 2 day double elimination event
- 5 on 5 games
- 10 teams (Max.) from Ohio and its bordering states
- Entrance fee: $500 per team (teams of 5-10 players)
PRIZES:
- GRAND PRIZE: $5,000 CASH
- 2nd: $1,250 CASH
- 3rd: $750 CASH
- Slam Dunk Contest: $300
- 3-pts Shoot Out: $300
REQUIREMENT:
- All players must be at least 18 years old
- All players must sign Amateurism Eligibility Waiver
